ALL JOURNEYS
Every itinerary below is private, tailor-made, and limited to a small number of guests. We do not run group tours, and we do not repeat a journey exactly twice.
Each itinerary begins as a blank page. We do not pull from a library of pre-written packages, and we do not resell itineraries built by other operators. Every route, every lodge, and every experience is selected for the specific party travelling.
The result is a collection that changes every season. Some journeys remain in our catalogue for years because they continue to work. Others are retired after a single departure because the landscape, the access, or the guiding has changed.

A note on how these journeys are made.
Every journey listed above has been travelled by a member of our studio within the last eighteen months. We do not publish itineraries that we have not personally walked, and we do not recommend lodges that we have not stayed in.
When you request a journey, you will speak directly with the person who built it. There is no call centre, no account manager, and no handover between departments. The same person who designed the route will be available to you before, during, and after the trip.
PATAGONIA: WILDERNESS UNBOUND
The Expedition Narrative
Traverse the raw, untamed landscapes of southern South America. From the granite spires of Torres del Paine to the roaring glaciers of Los Glaciares, this private expedition offers unmatched immersion with world-class local naturalists.
The journey is deliberately paced. We spend three nights in each of four distinct ecological zones, allowing the landscape to reveal itself slowly. There is no rushing from viewpoint to viewpoint; there is time to sit, to walk, and to simply be present.
Itinerary Highlights
- Helicopter flight over Glacier Grey and hidden icebergs.
- Private horseback trekking through historic Patagonian estancias.
- Luxury eco-lodge stays with private chef and sommelier pairings.
- Guided glacier walks with certified mountain leaders.
FIRE, ICE & OBSIDIAN
Nine days across volcanic highlands, hidden ice caves, and black-sand coastlines.
The Journey
Iceland is a country defined by its geology. This expedition is built around the forces that shaped it — volcanic activity, glacial retreat, and the relentless movement of the North Atlantic.
We travel in a private 4x4 with a certified glacier guide, moving at the pace of the weather. Days are structured around conditions, not schedules.
What Sets This Apart
- Private access to ice caves not open to public tours.
- Helicopter flight over the Askja caldera.
- Overnight stay in a working sheep farm in the highlands.
SANCTUARY OF THE DRAGONS
Eleven days through the last remaining Himalayan Buddhist kingdom.
Arrival in Paro
Acclimatization walks, private blessing ceremony at a hillside monastery, and a stay in a restored Bhutanese farmhouse.
Tiger's Nest & Thimphu
Sunrise climb to the legendary Tiger's Nest monastery, followed by three days in the capital exploring artisan studios and the weekend market.
Punakha Valley
High mountain passes, the Punakha Dzong fortress, private archery lessons with a national champion, and three nights of silent mountain retreat.
ALPINE SILENCE ABOVE THE TREELINE
Seven days of high-altitude walking, private mountain refuges, and vertical exposure guided by certified alpine professionals.
The Dolomites are not gentle. They rise abruptly from the valleys below, offering some of the most dramatic rock architecture in Europe. This expedition is designed for travellers who want to move through the landscape — not just view it from a hotel window.
Route Overview
We follow a section of the Alta Via, moving between three mountain refuges positioned along the ridge. Each evening is spent above 2,000 metres, with meals prepared by local mountain families who have worked the same routes for generations.
CLIFFS, LEMONS & OPEN WATER
Eight days along one of the most photographed coastlines in the world — but seen from a private boat, and stayed in by people who live there year-round.
Private Villas
Three private estates in Ravello and Praiano, each with terraces overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea.
Chartered Sailing
Two full days aboard a classic wooden sloop, with lunch prepared onboard by a local chef.
Family Estates
Dinners hosted by lemon farmers and winemakers whose families have worked the same terraces for centuries.
PRIVATE ATOLL & DEEP BLUE
The Expedition
This is not a resort holiday. It is a curated expedition into one of the most biologically rich marine environments on the planet, guided by researchers who have spent decades studying the reefs of the Maldives.
Days alternate between diving, surface exploration, and time spent with our guides reviewing footage and identifying species.
HIGH ATLAS & DESERT SILENCE
A Journey Between Two Worlds
Morocco is defined by contrast — the fertile valleys of the High Atlas stand in stark opposition to the vast silence of the Sahara. This expedition moves between both, with equal time in each.
We begin in Marrakech, then travel south by private vehicle to the Berber villages of the Ourika Valley. From there, we cross the Tizi n'Tichka pass and descend into the desert, where we spend three nights in a luxury tented camp beneath the stars.
Itinerary Focus
- Private artisan workshops in Fès and Marrakech.
- Guided trekking through Berber villages in the High Atlas.
- Luxury desert camp with private chef and astronomer.
- Restoration tour of the Aït Benhaddou kasbah.
TWO ISLANDS, ONE LONG HORIZON

WE FORGE
HORIZONS.
TOURISMMARKETINGLABS was not built as a business. It was built as a response — a refusal to accept that travel had become a transaction, and a commitment to make it something closer to a craft.
A studio born from restlessness.
We started with three clients and a single conviction: that true travel is not consumption, but participation. In the early days, journeys were written by hand on paper, tested in person, and revised until they worked. There was no template, no agency partnership, no marketing plan — only a small group of people who believed that the way we travelled mattered as much as where we went.
That belief became a method. We learned to build trips around the pace of a place, not the pace of a schedule. We learned to choose guides for their knowledge, not their scripts. And we learned that the most memorable moments are rarely the ones on the itinerary — they are the ones that happen in the gaps between them.
Almost a decade later, the studio has grown in reach but not in shape. We remain small. We remain independent. And we remain committed to a single question: how should this journey actually feel?
"The best journeys are not the ones you plan.
They are the ones you are ready for."
The road so far.
Three clients, one idea.
We ran our first expedition through Patagonia for a family of four. It took six months to design and taught us everything we still believe about pacing, silence, and the value of a well-chosen lodge.
Seven continents. Forty-one countries.
Our partner network grew the way it should — slowly, through personal introductions. We visited every lodge before recommending it, walked every trail before including it, and refused every partnership we could not stand behind.
The slow travel manifesto.
We formalised what we had already been practicing: fewer guests, longer stays, deeper engagement. We stopped accepting commissions that conflicted with these principles — even when they were profitable.
An independent publishing arm.
We began publishing long-form field notes from every expedition — not as marketing, but as a record. Today, the journal is read by more people than our client base, and it remains the truest expression of what we do.
Still small. Still deliberate.
We remain an independent studio. We do not answer to investors, we do not chase scale, and we do not publish itineraries we have not personally walked. The studio has grown in capability, not in size.
Five principles.
Restraint
We do fewer journeys so that each one receives our full attention.
Presence
We travel with you, not ahead of you. Every guide is chosen for their knowledge, not their script.
Privacy
Discretion is not a feature. It is the foundation of everything we offer.
Craft
Every itinerary is written by hand. No templates, no algorithms, no shortcuts.
Longevity
We build relationships with places, not transactions with destinations.
A team of travellers, not agents.
Everyone who works at TOURISMMARKETINGLABS has lived in the places they design for. Our Patagonia specialist spent four years in Chilean Patagonia. Our Bhutan lead studied under a Thimphu archery master. Our Morocco curator speaks Tamazight and Darija.
We do not hire salespeople. We hire people who have spent their lives in the field — naturalists, mountain guides, historians, and photographers. Their expertise is the product. Everything else is logistics.
Four steps from first conversation to final departure.
Listening
We begin with a conversation — not a questionnaire. We want to understand what you are actually looking for before we begin designing anything.
Scouting
Every lodge, trail, and guide is visited in person before we propose it. We do not recommend anything we have not personally walked.
Designing
We build the itinerary by hand, revising it repeatedly until it flows naturally. The final version is delivered as a printed document, not a PDF.
Travelling
Your designer remains reachable throughout the journey. There is no handover, no call centre, and no department behind the scenes.
If this resonates, we would like to hear from you.
We accept a limited number of commissions each season. Whether you have a specific journey in mind or simply want to talk through possibilities, we would be glad to begin.
